Copy SAM Reductions and Omits

Now one can copy the Section Access Permissions and Reduction fields rules from one user to other user/users Or from one user to the all users belonging to the selected group.

 

  1. Select any of the scanned application

 

  1. Activate the application

  1. Open Application and select the Reduction Fields and click on Next

  1. Apply the Reduction Rule to Any One of the user and click on Copy. Select the target user(s) and click Paste. This will add the copied content to the new target user(s).

 

Copy using Add option

When we copy using the App options the rules will be added to the existing Rules if any

5.a Click On Add To

-Selected user/users

5.a.1 Select One or More user and Click on Add To → Selected Users.

NOTE: The rules will get added to Selected users

Selected group

5.a.2 Click on Add To → Group Name (ex. Add To → WIP_dev Users)

NOTE: The rules will get added to All users belonging to the selected Group

Copy using Replace option

When we copy using the Replace options the rules will be replaced and existing Rules if any will be removed.

5.b Select One or More user and Click on Replace To .

- Selected user/users

5.b.1 Select One or More user and Click on Replace To → Selected Users.

NOTE: The rules will be replaced for Selected users

-Selected group

5.a.2 Click on Replace To → Group Name (ex. Replace To → WIP_dev Users)

NOTE: The rules will get added to All users belonging to the selected Group

 

Click Next ,Next and Finish.

Open the App in Qlik as any of the user to which the rule is applied.

The Rule should be applied(i.e. Data as per the SAM rules should be displayed to respective users)
