Basic requirement:-
For SAP, the minimum version is 4.2 SP5. Older version (greater than 4.2 SP0) should work without problem but we have not tested.
On the server where WIP, will be installed we need the SAP client tools to be installed as well.

CMS Port
What port(s) do I need to open for the WIP Server to see the CMS Dev server ?
Resolution:
If the CMS Systems are isolated from the BO/WIP clients the following ports have to be opened on the firewall : 1073, 3000 - 3999, 6400, 6401, 6402, 6403, 8080, and 8085
This list is the default port list from the standard installation they may vary depending on the customization done to the BO environment.
In addition to the above, we need the following port to be opened for the WIP SAP Services:
WipJavaPort : 38085 to 38095
WipJavaIdtPort : 38185 to 38195
