WIP Release Notes

Introduction

This document contains a list of the changes and enhancements that was made to WIP in the different version releases. It will also contain a list of issues that has been fixed in each version.

 

WIP September 2024 (25 september)

  • SAP

    • Fix the encoding of Biar file causing error when files contain special characters.

 

WIP June 2024 (SR1 18 June 2024)

  • General

    • Change the temp directory as per the config file

    • Optimize check-in the completely block the UI for large qvf file

    • Fix processor issue when option delete is enabled upon check-out/check-in.

    • Issue : SAP Service take a lot of CPU : fixed

WIP December 2021  ( Released 6 December 2021)

  • General

    • Import from AD, re engineered, user and group filters on back-end.

    • Import from AD, now get the first-name, last-name, email and phone from AD

    • Folder security : the Delete and Edit folder rights is inherited from parent folder.

    • Group Edit / Edit Users display username for better experience

    • Edit Server / Import Users : Added a user filter to filter in Qlik Sense

    • Possible to move the WIP log files using NLog.config

      • Set <variable name="logDir" value="C:\ProgramData\ebiexperts\TEMP" />

      • replace fileName="${basedir}/log/... by fileName="${logDir}/log/...

    • May 2021 SR3 supported

    • Qlik Sense users and groups synchronization fill the cpu and database : fixed

    • Extensions dependencies take the name not the extension ID : fixed

    • Reload after publish, there is a 3 minutes reload limitation: removed the limitation using a generated reload task "WIP Manually triggered reload of <<AppName>>" o

  • NPrinting

    • November 2020 supported,

    • Some issues fixed

SR1 (15 March 2021)

  • Qlik Sense:

    • Check-out and Get creates a reload task : fixed

  • Qlik Sense and QlikView

    • Enable Check-in with Data option has been added, if unchecked, the option keep data on check-in will be automatically checked and locked

  • Known Issues

    • Qlik Sense Multi users checkout :

      • WIP sheet objects rule “WIP_AccessOtherUsersSheets” is not correct, created as (UserDirectory=WIP) need to be "true"

      • Changing a subscriber to owner remove all checkout information, to correct make a checkout and choose the option "Keep"

      • Check-in a shared app will remove all subscribers to correct make a checkout and choose the option "Keep"

SR2 (8 April 2021)
