WIP Qlik Sense "Only One selected"

We have a response from Qlik by design it's normal that the information is cleaned if the app data is cleaned.

So with the above in mind, we can only have “Only One selected” after the reload is completed.

September 2002 Release:

We have redesigned this in WIP in the latest release (September 2022 Release). We will need to wait until the reload is completed after published. The step of published an app with “Only One selected” is defined below:

• Make a new Check-in with the new September 2022 version. We have added a new property under fields.

• Verify if you have the Properties (Select the file ->More and Properties)

• If the file have the above property, then the “Only One selected” will only be published automatically once the reload is completed.

• After the publish constantly monitor the status of the reload. That is wait for the reload status has changed from “ReloadInProgress” to “Reloaded” or “Instant Reload”. Only at this instant that the “Only One selected” will be published by WIP.

• Please note, WIP check the status of the APP on the QMC every 5 minutes and then we update the reload status accordingly. (This setting is defined in the variable TimerReloadMins in the WipDbSettings.config file. Please refer to the link https://ebiexpert.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WIPW/pages/2675769345 )

• If we have reloading issues like “Reloading Error”. The app need to be reloaded manually by the user on the QMC and then published again in WIP in order for the “Only One selected” to be published.

Prior to September 2002 Release:

"It is a major work to re-design and if that needs to be redesigned it will have a major impact"

As WIP will store the Qlik Sense applications without data in certain circumstances the "Only One selected" information will be cleared especially during First publish on a new stream.

As a workaround you can try the process below

• publish the app using WIP, check the reload button

• in the QMC temporarilly set your user as the app owner or use a RootAdmin user

• duplicate the app reselect the "Only One selected" values

• republish the app

• further WIP publishes will keep the information
