Instructions

WIP Service user (SU)

  • Need admin and read / write access to whole WIP Server

  • Need access to SQLServer db if using integrated security

  • Need “Impersonate a client after authentication” right

  • The WIP Service User (SU) need to have a valid QlikView license assigned.

WIP QlikView Logged In Users (LU) (Active directory users)

  • Need read access to qlikview documents folder hierarchy (to make 1st checkin) set in QlikView Server Root Folder

  • Need write access to working folders (checkout folders on the network) but we can use the WIP addon to checkout on local user machine

  • Need login access rights to the server in order to be impersonated by Service User

  • Need write access to WIP temp folder (C:\ProgramData\ebiexperts\TEMP\VmTemp)

WIP QlikView Proxy Users (PU) (the impersonating users defined in the QlikView Servers)

  • Need read / write / Create folder access to the QlikView folder hierarchy (in order to make a publish). As shown below, the proxy user "WIP\DEMOAdmin" need a full window right in the directory "\\ebiwin2016\C$\QlikViewServer". That path need to be accessible in the window explorer from the WIP Server while authenticating as WIP\DEMOAdmin".(proxy user)

  • The proxy user need to be able to login/impersonate on the QlikView server. (WIP\DEMOAdmin need to be able to login/impersonate in the qlikview server)
